Mobile internet access becomes more important for end-users, but there are different approaches how mobile internet access quality can be evaluated. Regulatory authorities use QoS parameters, but operators also consider the signal parameters for access quality evaluation. Authors in this publication are trying to find dependencies and correlation between signal and QoS parameters, by measuring parameter values in existing LTE network and analyzing the results, to see if signal parameter measurements would be a good tool for NRAs to define end-user mobile internet access quality. Based on results conclusions are made and can be used as a reference for Regulatory authorities, students and mobile network operators.
