This work explores the challenges that face the clothing industry but is primary concern is with the textile industry and its interactions with how it can reduce industry fabric waste while promoting sustainability. The main research focus is to gather and analyze various possibilities for fashion designers to achieve zero waste designs. Transforming and adapting ethnical and historical patterns is one of the ways how to construct and achieve zero or close to zero waste up to date design.
