The control of homing flying object type of anti-aircraft missile (AAM) takes place in the Earth’s atmosphere, in which there are different types of weather phenomena, such as turbulences, wind shears and gusts. The prevalence and intensity of these phenomena are not predictable. Atmospheric interferences are random noise, the occurrence of which is difficult to determine, and their influence carries a risk of combat mission failure. The characteristic of stochastic processes is the inability to describe them in a deterministic manner. These phenomena can be described only in an approximate way.
