This study is dedicated to the study of different signal waveform impact on the conversion efficiency for the RF signal conversion to the DC voltage. The RF to DC conversion were performed using RF-DC converter board in conjunction with the DC-DC converter in order to acquire required voltage levels for powering low energy devices or sensors. The measurements were performed individually for the RF-DC converter with variable load and RF-DC converter with DC-DC converter supplying voltage to the load. The converters performance was measured with single tone and different multi-tone signal waveforms with different carrier number count and peak to average power ratio (PAPR) levels for evaluating the converters maximum power point at low input power level. After experiments, the DC-DC converter maximum power point was fixed at half the input voltage level, as it would work close or near to the maximum power point for the selected signal waveforms. The DC-DC converter performance was evaluated with different load values and the average output power levels were calculated.
