Possibilities of a Low Cost Automated Construction Monitoring System
2nd Aviation and Space Congress 2019
Māris Hauka, Vitālijs Pavelko

Nowadays the idea of the use of a construction monitoring system is no longer anything unheard or even new. The use of such systems is considered in the fields of Navy, Aviation, Oil industry, etc. Yet any of such system so far suffers from their rigidness, the sensory systems are limited by the construction material properties, sensory area covered, signal pollution caused by ambient elements - the situation where each type of such system can be used is so specific, that several types should be used, while not enough empiric data is available to freely use even just one type, let alone a network of several. When these limitation gather- it makes the monitoring systems costs rise- both the install of the system and its operation become more expensive
