The paper discusses an improved rolling system of railway rolling stock on a brake shoe. In the beginning, to determine the expediency of the paper, the current brake shoe with added elements contributing to safe rolling of the stock on the shoe is considered. Additional elements are laser and parktronic. These elements are mounted on a portable device that is attached to a standard shoe. The elements facilitate safe fixing of the rolling stock by the operator on-duty as well as the driver. The driver reads the signal fed to the driver’s cabin via the retransmitter about the distance left to complete rolling of the wheel set on the brake shoe. This system improves accuracy of fastening of the rolling stock, namely, rolling of a wheel pair on the shoe. It also improves work safety of the operator on-duty. And, most importantly, when the train departs, the driver receives a signal through the retransmitter letting him know whether the shoes remain under the wheel pairs.
