The article analyzes the performance indicators of the research object in the operation of autonomous heat supply over the past 3 years. The function of full costs for the existing configuration of the heat supply system is defined and the cost of the produced thermal energy for the year is calculated. The calculation of the efficiency of the autonomous object of heat generation with the addition of a renewable energy source has been calculated. The simulation of the work of the modernized research object under competitive conditions in the territorial boundaries of district heating is executed
