Biohydrogen as Renewable Energy Carrier - Resources and Extraction Technologies
Alternative Energy Sources, Materials & Technologies (AESMT 19): Alternative Energy Sources, Hydrogen Energy 2019
I. Dimanta, J. Kleperis, Laila Zemīte, D. Boss, P. Lesnicenoks, V. Nikolaeva

Biological production of hydrogen gas has significant advantages because renewable organic waste can be used as source materials in dark fermentation process. Utilization of organic waste from fuel industry (glycerol) or food industry (lactose) for hydrogen production provides inexpensive energy generation with simultaneous waste reformation. This report summarizes experiments done by authors and the most popular resources and extraction technologies of bin-hydrogen production with recent developments.
