Modern trends in payment systems like European RT1 for quick transactions and grow of smart device number lead for searching of alternatives to centralized systems to achieve even fastest transfers. Distributed systems can be used, but this approach faces regulatory compliance which cannot be decentralized yet. In this paper some distributed protocols are reviewed for instant payment system to find out if it is possible to combine effectively distributed system with centralized services. Index Terms—Instant payment, RT1, Blockchain, Bitcoin, DAG, Algorand, IOTA, HoneyBadgerBFT, Ripple, Hashgraph
