The present work is dedicated to the study of chaotic oscillator synchronization noise immunity. As communication technology develops rapidly and new secure wireless transmission techniques are needed, new solutions regarding security are emerging. One of the possible solutions for secure data transmission is the use of chaotic oscillators and synchronization phenomena within communication system. Two chaotic oscillators used in the current study, are set up in a master-to-slave configuration, where the master sends a signal from one of capacitors acting as one of the state variables using a noisy transmission line and the slave chaotic oscillator is being synchronized by it, providing opportunity for correct data detection. Several communication system concepts based on chaotic synchronization are well known. In the current study of chaos synchronization noise immunity, a simple chaotic oscillator based on three capacitors and two transistors is used. An adjustable white Gaussian noise is added to the synchronization signal to simulate different SNR levels in the transmission line. For the synchronization process evaluation an error between signals of the master and the slave oscillators is measured and compared using correlation coefficient and root mean square(RMS) of error signal. In the proposed study LTspice software for baseband simulation is used, while MATLAB is employed for analysis of results.
