Both – positive and negative feelings that the consumer gets through his sensory system, can be described by bipolar descriptors (warm – cold, perspire – blowing through), which can be reconciled with different characteristics of fabrics, their layers related to the physical – mechanical properties, which, in turn, are measurable values. Thus, it would be possible to predict the wearer's level of comfort in clothes of specified fabrics, their layers in the designed garments under environmentally controlled conditions.
