A lot of different industry as transport, food processing, mining etc. are dealing with large
amounts of bulk cargo. In different industry silo are used for loading bulk material. Efficiency
of loading process depends from different parameters – material properties, size and shape
effects of bulk material and structures which are in contact with bulk material. Bulk material
loading in silo involves also air interaction with particles. In this paper airflow effects on bulk
material segregation in silo are evaluated by using DEM (Discrete Element Method).
