The present paper applies a multi-criteria decision-making methodology (MCDM) and Analytical Hierarchical Process (AHP) in the Latvian woodworking sector to assess the strategic decision-making criteria. The subject of the study is the influence of digitalization on company’s strategic posture and development of OSPP approach. The goal of the study is to examine the development of digitalization strategies and to consider whether the organizational changes are needed to adapt to digital change. According to the research results, our concept helps management to outline the most crucial advantages in industry regarding digital change and gaps between them and company capacity. We modified original OSPP matrix with MCDA method in order to realize the full potential of digital transformation. Nowadays companies need to add learning and digitalization relevant assets and capabilities in order to adjust them in terms of industry’s digital ecosystem and assess the gaps
