Use of Models for Forecasting Fraudulent Bankruptcy in Forensic Examination: Myth or Reality

The aim of the study is to investigate the necessary conditions, under which the use of models to assess the bankruptcy and fraud have become more widely used in forensic practice. The authors present the bankruptcy forecasting models and their accuracy, based on the studies of model verification. The article showed the possibility to use forecasting models in forensic practice, allowing one to evaluate their results more accuracy, than the traditional method. The development of fraud models shows the possibility to construct a model to detect fraudulent bankruptcy. The article also showed the necessity of periodical verification of models to regional conditions and actual trends.
