Influence of MeV Gamma Rays on Thermostimulated Exoelectron Emission from MgO Films

In this research, the application of magnesium oxide (MgO) films for TSEE dosimetry was studied. MgO films were fabricated on a Si/SiO2 substrate using the extraction-pyrolytic method. MgO films were irradiated with 6 MeV gamma photons in the dose range 20–100 Gy using a medical linear accelerator. TSEE spectra from the films were measured before and after irradiation.
