The simple logic gate based random signal generator is proposed in the current work. The generator design is based on the XOR logic gate with RC feedback loop. Previous researches have shown that at least two feedback delay lines should be implemented in the logic element-based generator to provide random behavior of the generated signal, while authors propose a schematic with one feedback loop. Moreover, signal generation mechanisms are discussed, and the power supply impact on the performance of random signal generation is experimentally studied. Statistical properties of the generated signal are also described. In addition, the practical application possibilities of the proposed generator are presented
