This paper presents a research that is made within the doctoral thesis. The title of the doctoral thesis is “Simulation-Based Supply Chain Risk Management”. The main goal of the research is to create a risk evaluation approach, which can be ap-plied in supply chains management. The final practical result of this research will be a program tool for risk analysis within supply chains with customized structures and parameters.
