This paper exploresthe possible applicationof unconventional signal type for RF-DC energy harvesting. As thenumber of wireless devicesincreases, the device occupied radiofrequency signal density increases as well. In thispaper,we have examined thepossibility of using a signal from a wireless sensor network communication standardsuch asa Long Range (LoRa) chirp spread spectrum(CSS). The conversion efficiency evaluation was performedwith anRF-DC integrated chip and two cost-effectiveRF-DC boards with Schottkydiodes: one with the matching network, another without one.
