The laser beam application for metal treatment technology like welding, cutting and cladding become common tool in modern technology. High-power laser systems up to 100 kW make possible welding in single pass the metal with thickness up to 50 mm. The complete understanding of laser treatment process of materials requests deep consideration of heat transfer process consideration during laser beam interaction with metal.
