While the best way to acquire project management skills is to work in close cooperation with well qualified and experienced project managers, not all organizations can afford it in terms of staff availability and time and financial resources. One of the solutions to address this problem is application of training methods that press inexperienced project managers to face multitude of project management situations in a short period of time for acquiring needed attitudes, decision making skills, ability to cope with psychological tension and other project management relevant skills. Such methods can be applied in training environment that reflects relevant project management tasks, provides skill challenging performance contexts, and gives access to relevant project management knowledge.
