The purpose of the paper is to study determinants and models for detecting fraudulent bankruptcy and manipulation in financial documents. The authors use quantitative methods for summarizing and visualizing bibliographic material to establish the relationship between fraudulent bankruptcy with auditing and manipulation in financial documents. The authors present the results of thematic testing of bankruptcy models and bankruptcy fraud detection performed in Latvia.
