The scientific paper is devoted to the delay of the setting of the intermittent current mode in the DC BUCK and BOOST converter circuits with the help of nonlinear inductivity. On the basis of the approximation of the magnetization curve of the inductor core, expressions are obtained for calculating both the inductor inductance and the variable component of the output current of DC BUCK converter. Experimental studies have confirmed the effectiveness of the proposal.
