This research paper demonstrates results on the experimental photonically assisted mm-wave analog radio-over-fiber (ARoF) transmission through 20 km single mode fiber (SMF) and 5 m wireless. Performance of system is analyzed at several Ka-band frequencies, applicable for 5G deployment.
