In this paper different under-frequency load shedding (UFLS) systems are compared using the phase plane approach. Paper presents different UFLS systems of the Baltic states before and after synchronizing with continental Europe in 2025, and their response to the same emergency scenario. The main aim of the paper is to show the advantages of existing UFLS system with upgraded settings in relation to the proposed UFLS system without UFLS-2 system.
