Concrete structures are commonly used in constructive foundations, but they tend to lose their original functionality over time due to natural degradation, as well as the effects of climate and temperature. Here, we produce HighPerformance Concrete (HPC), to increase the durability and workability of commercial concrete by incorporating Wollastonite, natural minerals from the mining industry, as aggregates. We partially substituted Wollastonite (16%, 32% and 48%) with aggregates 0.16-20 mm fraction in two different commercial grades of cement of 450 kg/m3 at two water/binder ratios (0.32 and 0.35). The study of mechanical and durability-related properties of the concrete sample specimens exhibited compressive strength values reaching 72.99MPa at the age of 28 days which was increased up to 75.31MPa after 90 days. Additionally, the flexural strength reached 8.14MPa and 8.65MPa when substituted 32% of the fine and coarse aggregates with Wollastonite in the same period. The utilization of Wollastonite minerals as aggregate was found to enhance both the strength and durability of concrete. This improvement is attributed to its ability to decrease porosity, potentially lowering it to as low as 4%, reduce water permeability to a minimal value of 3 cm, and densify the microstructure of the concrete. Additionally, we obtained favorable results for these properties, which have a substantial impact on the long-term durability of reinforced concrete structures
