The paper explores the possibility of increasing data transmission rates in chaos-based communication systems by raising the chaos oscillator’s fundamental frequency, preserving chaotic behavior. It aims to evaluate the robustness of the Colpitts chaos oscillator by increasing the fundamental frequency. The Colpitts chaotic oscillator, which has fundamental frequencies of 96.86 kHz, 968.59 kHz, and 9.69 MHz, is chosen as the subject of this investigation. The study of chaos oscillators is performed in the simulation environment. The chaotic behavior of the synchronized Colpitts chaos oscillator master-slave system is evaluated using a chaos 0–1 test. In the research, the correlation coefficient is a metric for the quality of chaotic synchronization. The paper demonstrates the fundamental frequency impact on the Colpitts chaos oscillator master-slave system dynamics and synchronization.
