The study examines how the clothing and textile industry is transforming toward sustainability by adopting circular-economy-driven innovations. It identifies and evaluates 21 key factors - grouped into seven functional areas - that influence innovation, with research and development emerging as the most critical. Using methods such as a systematic literature review, surveys, and analytic hierarchy processes, the authors develop a weighted assessment of these factors to guide managerial decision-making under resource constraints. The research offers a practical contribution by proposing a method for assessing an organization’s readiness to innovate within a circular economy framework.
