Impact Assessment of the DORA Regulation on IT Governance

The study will analyze and assess the impact of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) regulation on information technology (IT) governance in the financial sector of the European Union (EU). The research will provide an overview of the main objectives that IT governance is intended to achieve, as well as explain the essence of the DORA regulation. The study will identify and compare the common aspects of IT governance and the DORA regulation and will analyze and assess their mutual impact. Considering the importance and specificity of the financial sector, the paper will offer insights into the impact of DORA requirements on IT governance areas such as risk management, third-party management, and oversight.
