The known management practice for monitoring the erosion of a sandy soil
combines the application of grass seedings, an organic mulch, and a polymeric
glue in one water solution. The polymeric glue attaches the mulch and grass
seeds to the sandy surface, reinforces this surface by forming composite mulch-soil
layers, and, thereby it is capable of preventing the washout, leaching, and
blowing off of mulch and soil.
