Anotācija In the present study the bond strength (BS) between a live bone tissue (BT) of rabbits and composites was determined. Two types of composite implant materials were implanted in the rabbit femur. The first type of the biomaterials (B) is based on silicate glass (SG) and hydroxyapatite (H). Both the natural (NHAp) and a synthetic (HAp) hydroxyapatite were used. The second type of B was made of an ultrahigh molecular mass polyethylene (UHMMPE) and the NHAp. Also a stress-strain state (SSS) of system bone-implant (BI) was determined by the finite element program ANSYS.
