Simulation-Based Planning and Optimisation in Supply Chains: Application in Eclips Project
6th Vienna Conference on Mathematical Modelling (MathMod 2009). Report No.35 2009
Gaļina Merkurjeva, Jurijs Merkurjevs

The paper presents simulation-based methodology to solving multi-echelon supply chain planning and optimisation problems. It is aimed to analyse an efficiency of a specific planning policy over the product life cycle within the entire supply chain and to optimise the cyclic planning policy at the product maturity phase. Software prototypes and applications are described in the paper. The presented research is funded by the ECLIPS Specific Targeted Research Project of the European Commission ‘Extended Collaborative Integrated Life Cycle Supply Chain Planning System’.
