Present work is devoted to elaboration and investigation of composite material with defined properties based on mechanically grinded recycled tires and polymer binder. Correlation between polymer binder content, some technological parameters and composite material properties was clarified. Apparent density, compressive stress at 10% deformation, compression modulus of elasticity in statistic and cyclic mode of loading and insulating properties (acoustic, thermal) were parameters of special interest of present investigation. It was cleared up that purposeful variation of material composition and some technological parameters lead to multifunctional composite material with different and predictable mechanical and insulation properties.
