Anotācija Tehniskās tekstilijas ir strauji augoša tekstilrūpniecības nozare. Tekstilmateriāli aizstāj tradicionālos materiālus dažādās tautsaimniecības nozarēs. Publikācijā apkopotas Krievijas bazalta šķiedras ražotnes ”Kamenny Vek” bazalta šķiedras mehāniskās īpašības balstoties uz publicētiem avotiem, testēšanas rezultāti ar INSTRON raušanas iekārtu, testējot šķiedru mehāniskās īpašības pirms iestrādes audumā un pēc aušanas amatnieku stellēs. Parādīti izstrādāto bazalta šķiedru armējošo audumu iekārtošanas parametri.
Anotācija angļu valodā Technical textiles are a rapidly developing branch of the textile industry. Textiles are replacing traditional materials in various sectors of the national economy. Textile fibres and fabrics are increasingly being used as the materials for creating fibre-reinforced plastic composites that have the fabric structure and surface density suitable for the future use of the particular composite and in which fibre materials (frame) are compatible with the matrix. On the basis of published sources, the present publication provides research results on the mechanical and chemical properties of basalt fibres. The filament yarn of a basalt fibre is made by melting the basalt rock and extruding the molten rock through a platinum/rhodium die. The chemical composition of basalt fibres manufactured in various factories depends on the chemical composition of minerals extracted in a particular region. The basic component of basalt is silica (46% to 65%); the other components are the following metal oxides: aluminium oxide (12% -19%), iron oxide (6% -14%), and calcium oxide (5.6% -13%). It also contains Mg (3% -12%) and other components (0.19% - 6%). Basalt fibres have good physical and chemical properties, as well as good adhesion to metals, epoxides and glues. The strength of filaments can be compared to the strength of a steel wire of a During the course of this work, 13 fabric structures in four weaving patterns were created for reinforcing composites by using basalt from the “Kamenny Vek” company (Russia, Dubna), with 136 tex linear mass density of fibres (surface density of 333- 439 g/m2). Samples were also created where flax and hemp yarn were integrated into warp (surface density of 95-126 g/m2), and they are suitable for use in laminate constructions. The samples were woven on looms used by artisans; the density of warp and weft was varied. The set-up parameters of basalt fibre-reinforced fabrics are also indicated. Basalt fibres were tested with an INSTRON pulling device, which tested the mechanical properties of these fibres before they were integrated into the fabric. Warp from fabrics with a surface density of 330 g/m2 and 126 g/m2 was also tested.
