Anotācija Darba mērķis ir apskatīt kaņepju pārstrādes iespējas, izpētīt iegūto materiālu īpašības un to izmantošanas iespējas, apzināt pasaules praksi šajā jomā un piedāvāt jaunas iespējas kaņepju šķiedru un koksnes izmantošanai arhitektūras un interjera elementos, lai vēlāk izveidotu jaunu durvju paraudu ar uzlabotām tehniskajām īpašībām un jaunu dizainu, izmantojot kaņepju šķiedras un stiebrus, tādējādi darot mūsu vidi ekoloģiskāku un rodot iespējas attīstīties Latvijas tautsaimniecībai un ražošanai.
Anotācija angļu valodā In this article is summarized information about properties of hemp fibers and shives, their application to architectural and interior elements. At a time when the world is rapidly depleted non-renewable resources, it is important to find opportunities to replace these resources. One such possibility is the use of cannabis. Hemp is one of the fastest growing plants with a huge potential in various industrial fields. Earliest evidence for use of cannabis are the manufacture of paper. By the time use of this plant has grown and today cannabis, because of its good physical properties and chemical composition, is used of lightweight, textile, food, pharmaceutical, furniture, construction, oil and gas production, cellulose - paper, ore mining, energy, steel, radio and ship manufacturing, communications industries. At present most hemp fibers are used in paper industry, mainly for cigarette paper and banknotes, but more and more attention is paid to the various building materials and insulation materials, which are made of hemp fibers. One such material is "hemp concrete", which consists of a binder and hemp wood. "Hemp concrete" is a combination made by mixing hemp shives together with a binder, usually lime, and water. This composite material is with low density, high thermal resistance, high sound insulation, good breathable, with good flexibility, fire-resistant and so on. Similarly, cannabis is widely used in polymer materials. The biggest sale of this material is in the automotive industry because of European Union regulation, which stipulates that by year 2015 the 95% of materials must be recyclable. However, not only in the automobile sector is likely to use cannabis polymer. Today, more and more cannabis polymeric materials are used in various household productions, such as container, various boxes, furniture and other housing interior elements. Hemp fibers, because of their physical properties, are increasingly used in the manufacture of board materials. Some researches have shown that the use of hemp fiber in board materials produced even better properties than wood particle board material. For example, hemp MDF boards are 2.5 times more resistant and 3 times more elastic than wood MDF boards and they are much more resistant to moisture. Hemp MDF board is fireproof and resistant to insects, they are anti-bacterial. The positive properties of hemp board materials can be used for various architectural and interior elements. Using hemp board materials in door manufacturing, production can improved their properties to make them environmentally friendly and provide new opportunities for Latvian producers. The use of hemp composite materials in doors manufacturing has not yet been established in Latvia. The realization of such doors could make possibility to develop Latvian economy and production as well as could support the Latvian hemp growers by providing material for domestic sales.
