Nanoparticle compositions of noble metals Pt, Au and magnetite Fe3O4 were produced by the extractive-pyrolytic method (EPM). The phase composition, the size and the magnetic properties of all samples were investigated by an X-ray diffractometer, a transmission electron microscope and a vibration sample magnetometer, respectively. Formation of the nanocomposite particles was confirmed by the above-mentioned investigations.
