Collective scientific monograph has been developed to show how local municipalities can make sustainable transition towards low-carbon economy by considering international practices and trends. The main focus in the book is set on two aspects of energy planning – energy management and engineering solutions. Results of scientific research are important for specialists of state and municipal institutions who are responsible for regional energy planning, promotion of renewable energy use and increase of energy independence of the country.
