In the framework of this work, a mathematical model was formulated for calculating the stress-strain state of layered polymer composite materials equipped with control piezoelectric actuators. The research has been carried out to define the influence of covering composite materials, and the piezoelectric actuators location, on the SMART blade torsion angle. The most effective piezoelectric actuators location was revealed. It was found that the asymmetry of the blade profile does not significantly affect the model torsion angle, if the actuators are arranged symmetrically.
