In the Thesis, the possibilities to promote the performance of companies through technology transfer (acquisition) and the introduction of innovations are considered. The study identifies the relationships between the factors that make up the process and develops proposals for stakeholders to promote innovation and acquire new knowledge and technology. The outline of the work consists of three parts. In the first part of the Thesis, describing the importance of innovation and technology transfer in the context of economic and business management, the topicality of the topic is substantiated, and the premise on which the research is based is put forward. The analysis of innovation and technology transfer concepts and their interrelationships is performed, as well as a review of technology transfer performance research is developed to identify the knowledge gap. The second part describes the logical model that is used to create the framework of empirical research. Using the framework, the factors related to the innovation and technology transfer process are summarized, grouped, and evaluated. The hypothetical impact of the factors on the company's performance indicators is defined. In the third part, the analysis and interpretation of empirical data is performed. The results of the research show that the introduction of innovations is essential for increasing the company's performance. The introduction of innovations is facilitated by the acquisition of new knowledge and technologies, especially from companies in other industries abroad. In turn, the acquisition of new knowledge and technologies is facilitated by the performance of internal research and development work. Based on the results of the research, management solutions for promoting the growth of companies have been developed and applied.
