Aviation 2009
Andrejs Kovaļovs, Sandris Ručevskis

In the present study a numerical‐experimental method for the identification of the elastic properties of stiffened composite panel from experimental vibration analysis is carried out. The elastic properties of a panel are found by an identification procedure based on the method of experiment design, the response surface approach, and the finite element method. The results obtained were verified by comparing the experimentally measured eigenfrequencies with the numerical ones obtained by FEM at the point of optima.
