In EU funds planning process there is a need to apply strategic approach, detailed analysis of circumstances in a country and policy. The paper will present strategic EU funds planning scheme and activities to be taken for implementation of this scheme. Paper concentrates on methods that are not currently frequently used, but could be very efficient and could promote development in the most rapid way – allocations according to the economic situation in the country and research analysis.
