Financial and Engineering Aspects of Sustainable Infrastructure Development

The paper examines different financial sources for infrastructure development, road construction with an emphasis on Public Private Partnership (PPP). Authors have described issues and main risks related to PPP projects. This research consists of significant information about current situation in road construction industry, financing sources available and statistical data with illustrative graphs. In order to find best solution for sustainable infrastructure development considering both types for road pavement – asphalt and concrete - external analysis has been provided.
