The main goal of this study was to estimate costs and benefits of indoor air quality improvement based on productivity loss, short-term sick leave costs, and investment, operation and energy costs of air handling systems. This was applied for country with cold climate (more than 4000 heating degree days), comparably low salary hourly rates and high energy tariff.
