Nowadays, every serious company has its own web page that is a part of the Global Web. Thousands of new pages are being created every year. Therefore, people actively use search engines to find the necessary information. In order to get good positions in the search results, it is necessary to optimize the pages using SEO methods. This paper describes the importance of links in the SEO and use of links in optimization of portals.
