Advantages of Reluctance Generators for the Use in Low-Power Wind Plants

The paper describes performance of the reluctance generators used in low-power wind plants. The authors also analyze the possibility for such generators to operate in a large network with independent load. It is shown that the use of biasing makes a reluctance generator more reliable and better by mass-size parameters.
