Abstracts of the Riga Technical University 55th International Scientific Conference 2014
Agnija Ieviņa, Valdis Kampars, Māra Legzdiņa

Wheat straw has been known as an agricultural residue with a potential use as a biomass for valuable chemical compound production by use of such technological processes as pyrolysis and gasification. In this work catalytic pyrolysis process of wheat straw was investigated in order to obtain new information about the activity of different commercially available catalysts, and dolomite as a local material that could probably be useful for chemical production in future.
