Customer Equity Management in a Commercial Bank

Scientific monograph explores the problems associated with customer equity management in a commercial bank. The authors perform assessment of efficiency of banking sector in Latvia and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe using parametric and non-parametric methods; analyze the existing business models at the banks according to financial and non-financial indicators, and develop the model of customer equity management. Different solutions in the context of business ecosystem is offered that reveal the nature of banking business ecosystems from the customers’ point of view, such as: 1) bank’s focus on the customers, 2) the bank customer segmentation based on the business ecosystem principles of value creation for customers, 3) fundamental principles of responsible lending, 4) as well as customer equity factor assessment of Latvian commercial banks, thus achieving long-term bank - client cooperation
