Abstract. By employing advantages offered by the e-environment, entrepreneurs can ensure expedient and effective communication with the target audience, by promoting products on the global market. By this way companies, especially SMEs, can replace or compensate lacks of resources, as finances etc., be-cause e-environment offers many free or low cost possibilities. The performed scientific studies show that proper and skilful use of modern technologies can contribute to a significant development of companies. The authors of the article analyse the impact of the e-environment on entrepreneurship development. The value concept and the value role in a company’s development are considered. The article shows that value is a component of a modern company’s business model and it is simultaneously a component of a business model in the e-environment.
