Documenting, analysing and estimation of buildings and historical objects is a very complicated and interesting work. The Irbene RT-32 radio telescope is a complex physical and geometrical object for creating 3D models. The main aim of the 3D surveying is to collect the information of the plate geometry and fully finished telescope after its reconstruction works. Using digital close range photogrammetry and 3D laser scanner data, we can collect this information in a very high level. Work was performed using laser scanner Leica ScanStation P40 and drones. In the result, a map was created consisting of about 1500 million points. Each of these points determine x, y, z coordinates. Main aim was to combine photogrammetry and 3D laser scanner data to get better and faster results for different purposes.
