Synchronous Inductor Generator with Electrically Integrated Armature and Field Windings with Improved Performance

The paper describes a method to improve power output parameters of Synchronous Inductor Generator with Electrically Integrated Armature and Field Windings. Integration of the armature and the field winding is described. Integration of the armature and the field winding is possible only with the open-triangle connection scheme that leads-to some undesirable effects which are analysed in the paper. Undesirable effects caused by the open-triangle connection scheme are diminished by connecting generator coils to a transformer. A test-bench is created and the prototype machine is tested.
