The aim of the research was to study gallium containing amorphous calcium phosphate (GaACP) stability in different media. Synthesis of GaACP was made using conventional precipitation method. Obtained GaACP powder was immersed in deionized water, Dulbecco's Modified Eagle’s Medium and Phosphate Buffered Saline for specific time points. The XRD results indicate that GaACP powder samples are most stable in deionized water, however crystallization process in PBS occurred most rapidly in comparison to other media used in our experiments. Furthermore, pure amorphous calcium phosphate showed lower stability in each media compared to GaACP.
